Up till 5 weeks late I was experiencing lots of burping, sudden nausea, dizziness, extreme exhaustion. I have had a "few" neg preg tests, I am seeing the doc next week, but is it still possible I am pregnant because I haven't felt the symptoms in a few days...

Some people who are pregnant have tons of symptoms... some have none! Every woman and every pregnancy is different. The fact that you haven't gotten your period is a good sign that you could be pregnant... although the fact that you have had nothing but negative tests makes one wonder! Unfortunately, the urine tests are not 100% accurate when it comes to negatives. My cousin's wife was pregnant for several months, always getting "false negatives" (it said she was not pregnant, when she in fact was)... because of a hormone imbalance in her body. Going in to see the doctor is certainly the BEST advice anyone can offer you, and you're already on the right track with an appointment set. They can do a blood test to check the hcg level in your blood (more accurate than a urine test at home). At this point, being 6 weeks late, they can also do a sonogram and SEE if there is a baby in there! IF you are pregnant... 6 weeks late would mean that you could be 10 weeks pregnant! If they do a sonogram, they can tell you with fair certainty if you are or are not pregnant. Of course, lack of a menstrual period could be for many serious reasons other than pregnancy. I'm thrilled to hear that you're taking the right path in going to the doc! GOOD LUCK!

I would call the ob/gyn and tell them you cannot wait until next week and find out what is going on. when I was going to have my daughter, I had my period for two months, so I did not even know I has having a baby. I went for a check-up that is how I found out I was having a baby. those preg tests are not always right.

negative pregnacy tests don't always mean what they say it could be that your hormone levels are low! if it makes you feel better when i was pregnant with pippa i took eight and they were all negative but i had afunny feeling so went to the doctor. my sysptoms used to come and go especially in the first couple of months- i would go days without morning sickness and be jumping for joy but then the next day it was back to toilet hugging in the mornings! i wouldn't wait till next week make an emergancy appointment now x hope its good news

Test can show negitive sometimes and you still are pregnant, one girl I worked with took a lot of test and they all said neg. it didn't show positive until she was 11 weeks pregnant, even the doctor took a blood test and it didn't show positive, Im telling you and all the others, anything is possible! good luck!

Hi when I've been pregnant I had symptoms that would come and go all of the time. So yes it is possible that you are, but don't get your hopes up you could end being disappointed.

just relax and take things one day at a time if you are pregnant you are if not theres always next time. worring about it wont help you or if you are pregnant your baby. your seeing the doctor soon so find out what he says before you start worring too much.
