right click on mycomputer then go to setting--> computer name--> then change it

Right-click on My Computer > Properties > Computer Name > Change the full computer name.

If you are on a large network this may take 15 minutes to replicate through the network.

i think u have 2 operating systems.
thats y when u start your 2nd op it shows "duplicate name exists in the network".
if this is the case thats not a problem.
