I worked in an office and someone brought in a plastic squeaky rat. Somehow, it managed to become part of the office. It would appear on anyone's desk at any time, giving you a start, and then a giggle cause it was your turn to get back at someone without causing trouble. Surprisingly, it circulated about 6 months!!! We never did find out who started it in the first place. LOL Just make sure there isn't anyone who's deathly afraid of it...you want a startle, not a scream and a heart attack!!
Free food always cheers people up. Have orange juice, coffee, donuts, bagels, and muffins set out for breakfast.
Also, (if your office would allow it) have a theme week. Send out a memo that has a list of the days of the week, and what you need to dress as for that day (hat day, patriotic, pajama party, Christmas in July (drag out the Christmas tree and lights, too), sports, etc). You'll want to post a flyer or sign at the office window announcing the odd dress code so the public won't think you're all nuts! LOL As long as your office is low-key enough, this is one of the best stress relievers I know. Good luck to you and I hope things blow over soon. Blessings

Bring a poo poo cushion and place it on different one's seats, then when they sit down it sounds like a big fart. that should lighten things up.
