Hi there. My wife had this from about the same stage but our son was a pretty big boy. She had real trouble rolling over in bed at night or anything because she was in a lot of pain. I think it can be Pubic something disorder - can't quite remember. That's the severe version of it, but hers was just really the weight and the baby moving quite low. If your having it checked they will find out if it's more serious or not but in the meantime just be very careful on your posture and slouching with your lower back as this will just aggravate it. All the extra relaxin in your body can cause a lot of strain on the back and the pelvis and all the bones are still moving at this stage (sorry - personal trainer, I get very serious about posture!!). Gentle excercise will help as well.

My baby has layed low the whole pregnancy and i am due anytime now. My doctor told me that it was just the pressure of him being so low. I did have cramping and pelvic pain in the 6th and 7th month. The best thing I can tell you to do is stay off your feet and rest alot. The best of luck to you

Oh, yeah. I had pain like that with my 4th! Your bones are softening to prepare for birth and the pubic bone is pulling apart. Don't worry, it won't fall apart! But it does hurt. I had that especially when I did something like vacuuming. Take it easy, but do tell your midwife about it.

That is a very common feeling, there is msot likely no need to worry, but ask your midwife just incase. Good luck with your baby.

if you have concerns, see your GP. They may send you for a scan just to make sure all well.
