Hello,

A few years ago our local news did a story on a man who was building an Old West Town in Texas where you could spend the night, eat, guns fights.
Does anyone know anything about this place or anything like it in Texas?

Thanks for the help

Could it be Fort Tumbleweed just northwest of Austin?
Below is a link to the website, have a look and see if it's the one your looking for:

Or could it be Wallacetown Resort Park at Cornudas (east of El Paso)?

Well
I am a native Texan living here in North Texas in the middle of some very rich history---and am fairly informed about a good deal of stuff that goes on here---haven't heard about this one though---even though we do have a lot of places here that come close to that without any SPECIAL construction needed !!!
You have thousands of places here that boast of the best Steaks and Bar B Que in the world---we have world class hotels and then some that are right out of Dodge City history---And---occassionally right down the street from me at a place called Outskirts--- they'll have an occassional gun fight---even though I don't think those are for the tourists !!
Google up the Texas Tourism Bureau in Austin, Tx
these fine folks know this state better than Willy Nelson and THAT'S saying something !!!!
