In my opinion, Santa Claus Does not exist....and yes, I taught my kids that too. I would rather tell the truth than to lie to my own kids.

Children can see him through his stories. They don't have to see him in order to believe in him- they just do. (Santa Claus originated in Germany- do some research and you can see why).

He's a retired old GUY...who had found the best job in za WORLD...works 24h / YEAR....Who wouldn't like a jo like that???
Influence on the Children...Probably theylove him more than anbody else...

he is the idea of giving in our house
he helps mommy and daddy give special presents
the idea of giving instead of recieving
in the store we ask the kids to help santa pick out a gift for nana or uncle joe
he is very busy and needs kids help

as a fat guy in a red suit.
that he can deliver presents all thru the night driving a sleigh with reindeer. depending on if they are naughty or nice.
