Do you clip them in the back or turn it around and clip in the front? If u can clip in the back, are u proud u can do it? I can't!! My bras have 4 hooks in the back. I'm 13, have worn a bra for a year but can't clip them behind my back

Is it true that turning the bra around damages it, wears it out? My mom says it does. She wants to give me bra classes so that I learn how to clip my bras in the back, but I simply can't.

Hold the bra up in front of you. Let the bra hang upside down (arm straps pointing at the floor) and with the Inside of the bra facing Away from you. Now place it around you about your waist. It's more natural to your hands now to reach behind you and hook it.
After you've hooked it, pull the armstraps up and on and get it all straightened out.
Good Luck! Practice makes perfect!

PS: Wow, am I the only gal in the world who fastens her bra behind her back?? I had no idea!!

Turning a bra around never damages them. I have done this for over 40 years (yes, I'm a grandma). Fastening them in the back can be an impossible task...do it in front and turn them around. Be happy that you have to wear a bra at 13, I had to wait...and an unhappy camper! Best of everything in your life to you...

I find that it is just too much of a hassle to fidget with the darn hooks to clip them behind my back.
I always clip my in the front and then flip them to the back... I'm 37, and I don't think that this has damaged ANY of my bras!!!

Bra classes? Your Mom must have been joking about that one honey.

Most women clasp their bra in the front and turn it around. This does NOT in any way damage the bra.

However, I love front hook bras. They are great and you can buy them in most department stores.

I can but I choose to do it in the fron and turn it bc its quicker...for me. I dont think it wears them out and if it does Im not worried. How long do you want to keep the same bra anyway?

,Turning a bra around damages it? hmmm.. that is news to me... No it doesn't hurt your bra to turn it around. If it did, washing it would cause it to fall apart. I don't know anyone who has twenty mins. every morning to hook their bra in the back... that is crazy... why would you do that... that is just crazy.....lol! Signed... Sabrina the notorious bra turn-arounder... lol!
