Then why do almost all of the vegetarians I know, believe in abortion?
just a question.

I'm just saying, a fetus is supposed to be a living breathing person inside of us women, right? Thats what they taught me in childhood development? And they think killing animals is wrong, when most cows I've met have a pretty bland personality? That baby could grow up and cure cancer! You never know what or who they were meant to be?

I can FREELY ask this question if I wish.
What will that cow do?
Sit there and fart, and take up even more room on this planet? If cows were meant to stay alive, and not be eaten, why are they here? Because they're tasty.
Oh, and a cluster of cells, can move its fingers, have a heart beat, and move its arms at 12 weeks, when most women find out their pregnant in the first place?

I agree with you on subject of abortion.

At just 18-25 days the fetus's heart is already beating and the foundation for the nervous system is set.
In 42 days the skeleton is formed and reflexes are present. Brain waves can be detected.
In the 6 weeks the fetus has all the internal organs of an adult and the hardening of the bones begins.
At 12 weeks: The fetus is sucking his/her thumb vigorously and practices breathing the amniotic fluid into and out of his/her lungs to develop them. His/her kidneys are making urine and his/her heartbeat can be detected electronically.

If someone says that eat meat is murder and abortions is not, then they have sadly mistaken! Meat is food and a fetus is our future.

The true question is do you think it is murder to kill our children, our flesh, our blood and our future? If not, what is it? A fetus is not a cluster of cells, they are the earliest stage of a child.

that's an issue you need to discuss with those people.
i can't understand how anyone can justify abortion. it's nothing but murder

edit: to the person above me... vegetarians sometimes do wear leather. most vegans don't. but even if they do it's an individuals choice whether to adopt the vegan LIFESTYLE as well as the vegan DIET. it's nothing to critise them about. they're doing enough as it is.

Edit2: to your additional details. you basically have said that since cows have bland personalities it's ok to kill them, especially over a human life. firstly killing something living has nothing to do with personality or lack of. i've met humans with less personality than a door knob - it doesn't make their lives any less valuable

AND STILL, cows are only here in such vast numbers because we mass produce them. it's a horrible process and it's nothing i support. perhaps you should research factory farming

im veggie, i dont eat meat cause it reminds me of how cruel science is, cause hmm.. im a science student. It kinda puts you off eating meat when youre exposed to the smell of decaying animals and perserved bodies....blood, juice....eww yuk =enough=

I dont think there is a problem with abortion. If a family can not handle a baby or the pregnant mother cannot have the baby (due to health reasons etc...) then its logical to have an abortion. People do think really hard before they do have an abortion. People dont have one everyday just for the fun of it....

I know I will get knocked for my answer, but I'll put it anyway. Being a vegetarian is not a belief, just like having an abortion isn't a belief. They are both choices that people make to fit them. And whether you believe that they are right or wrong, that is a decision for that person to make. No one else.

A note to anyone who thinks that abortion isn't murder if done in the first few weeks;would it be murder if you were sleeping and you were killed within the first few hours? Kill one man, they call you a murderer, kill 500,they call you a conqueror. This world is far to lost in it's own damnation for anyone to try and justify abortion, but animals in the other hand keep us fed,ask yourself this then;If a cow could kill you for food, would it?
