With my first, I felt movement at 18 weeks... with my second, again it was about 18 weeks... my third felt like 15 weeks... and this one, I didn't feel until about 19 weeks. I too was a bit concerned, beacuse it seemed each time I was pregnant I felt the movements sooner, and then this one I wasn't feeling things yet! I talked to my docs about it, and they said that this is COMPLETELY NORMAL. With the first, you don't know what you're feeling for. With the next, you know so you might feel movements sooner. However, each time you're pregnant the uterus gets stretched, ligaments get stretched, the inner stomache muscles get stretched... and you just don't have as much "feeling" in there... so it's very common for women with their 3rd and further pregnancies to NOT feel movement as soon! I was satisfied with this answer, and of course sonograms and dopplers of the baby's heartbeat kept me knowing that all was well! It sounds to me like you'll start feeling movement soon, maybe even before you get the chance to close this q&a and vote on your best answer! GOOD LUCK!

Have you had any ultra sounds yet? how many weeks were you when you found out you were pregnant? I felt first movements at around 18 weeks. However, dont let this worry you. Docs always say you feel them later with your first. Sometimes movements can be mistaken for gas. If all your tests are good then chances are everything is fine. Good luck.

If you want to make your baby to move inside you, you can eat some chocolate and it's very possible in a few seconds to feel some movements. Otherwise, don't worry, probably it's just very quiet baby.I wish you all the best with your child.

Normally with 2nd+ pregnancies you feel movements sooner. But all babies are different. Have you had an ultrasound? Heard the heartbeat? If so, I wouldn't worry too much!

I wouldn't worry, every pregnancy is different. My cousin said she worried throughout her second pregnancy because her little one hardly moved. She would pass the fetal movement test...but other than that she wasn't very active. She was just a gentle baby. Even still the little one is more gentle than her older sister.

I HAVE BEEN PREGNANT 4 TIMES--WITH 3 LIVE BIRTHS-AND SEEN A HIGH RISK DOCTOR WITH ALL 4,THEY TOLD ME TO EAT SOMETHING VERY COLD--ICE CREAM-POP CYCLES ETC..THE DR.ALSO TOOK A BUZZER AND PUT AGAINST MY STOMACH TO AROUSE HER,SHE SAID I COULD ALSO DO THE SAME AT HOME WHEN I WAS CONCERNED WITH MY HUSBANDS ELECTRIC SHAVER,JUST TURN THE SMOOTH END TOWARD YOUR BELLY AND TURN IT ON.THE BABIES NORMALLY CAN NOT STAND EITHER OF THESE TRICKS--WHEN YOU DO IT REALLY CONCENTRATE ON YOUR BODY AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.I'M SURE THAT MAYBE YOUR JUST REALLY BUSY AND NOT CONCENTRATING ON WHAT YOUR FEELING.EVERYTHING IS FINE I'M SURE.GOOD LUCK.
