Say you're on a first date with a guy, and it's going well. You're at a restaurant, the food is good, the conversation is interesting, and he seems like a really good prospect, intelligent and respectful.
Then, he says, "I'll be right back.....I gotta go take a dump" and gets up and goes to the restroom. When he gets back, he says, "Whew, that was brutal" and then resumes eating as if nothing were amiss.
Would you have second thoughts about him then?

Well, that is just a man thing. While hardly elegant manners, it would indicate he was really relaxed with me. You can guarantee if you are with a guy a long time that is exactly what he would say. Men are inordinately proud of their bowel movements, perhaps because it is the only thing they give birth to.
So, I would continue the conversation without skipping a beat, and possibly tease him about his "too much information".
I bet men would hate it if women did the same thing though. Or said "I am having the biggest flow - you should see it. I'm flooding!".

Well, in hind sight, you're basically just skipping over about 5 or 6 years and getting him for who he is.
I agree with the other answerer...sounds like husband material to me!
Once my husband took me out to eat at a nice restaurant (we've been married 15 years) and went to the bathroom, whispered in the managers ear, came and sat back down to inform me he had clogged the toilet, and picked up his fork to finish his meal like nothing had ever happened.
It made ME feel that the eyes were upon us, but it didn't bother him one damn bit. Men do that. They can take a crap in any public restroom at any given moment. Women have an inner voice that says "wait until you get home" because we simply are different.

Johnny Depp (according to looks and character) although, i admire Keanu too considering the fact that he's type of mysterious and likewise actual has the appearance. i'm no longer particularly into Pattinson, sorry. those 3 adult males do have in undemanding that they are so familiar and type of shy away from the attention.

Yes. Second and third thoughts. If he talks like that with his friends that is one thing, but on the first date he needs to act like a gentleman.

I would probably laugh and chock it up to him being enough of a man to be honest. Only goodie-goodie-gals would cut him out for that.

not really,I'd tell him "thanx for sharing",but I'd order dessert with something strawberry or cherry in it..then before its served tell him I had to go whizz...return to the table & say " man o man that flowed like cherry juice, thought it'd never stop!"Later if he got frisky with me I'd tell him my own cherry juices were flowing (period)so no nookie for him!" =)
