Not necessarily. Every birth is different and it's impossible to predict.

My eldest daughter was 13 days late and my youngest was a week late. I had to be induced with the first one but started myself the second time. Both deliveries went well and I have two gorgeous healthy girls. Don't worry, if you are late the midwives will keep an extra eye on you. Happy nappy days ahead. Enjoy your baby, they are not babies very long.

doctors don't really know when the baby will come. most of the time they are guessing. the baby will come out when he or she is ready. when I was going to have my daughter, they said she was a boy, so I thought I was going to have another boy, I had a 16 1/2 month old son at the time. well when they handed me the baby and told me that he was a girl, I was excited. my third baby was born at home. not planned. and it was a boy. I lost a baby in my ninth month, a stillborn, and it was a girl. so I had girl (stillborn) boy, girl and my last 25 was a boy. hope you have an easy time.

Each pregnancy is different so just because you were late with one doesn't mean you will be late with another. Mine were born 5 days early and 10 days late...that is a 15 day difference!

Every pregnancy is different. With my first i went 3 days early. The 2nd time i went 6 days over. It all depends on when the little buggars decide they want to come out.
Good luck anyway and i hope you go soon.

You could go over due again. Or you can go into labour tonight! Or maybe right on your due date! It's impossible to tell! But no, just because your 1st was late doesn't mean this one will be. All pregnancies are different!

Personally, I don't feel that babies come late. Nature decides and when the time is right...out comes the baby.
The doctors accuracy depends on what we can remember about our last period.

Your baby will only be overweight if it runs in the family, and if you over feed it. It has nothing to do with the birth of your child. My son was a week late and he is just as normal as the children that are right on time. Hope this helps.
