The people who told you that are idiots. Everyone masturbates. It is not harmful or a sin. How can something so pleasurable be a sin?

If it was harmful, the entire population of the world would have died out centuries ago.

Masturbation is not a sin. Its not harmful. All boys and men do it. 4 times a week is not even a lot. The normal amount of boys to masturbate is 2 some times 3 times a day. Its actually better to masturbate then not to, because if you masturbate every day, you wont get prostate cancer, which can kill you. Its better to masturbate, then to have sex and get a girl pregnent or get an std. Masturbating is safe, healthy, and normal. If you dont masturbate your balls will turn blue-ish. You'll ejaculate in your sleep anyways if you dont, so it makes no difference. Its your body, and you can do what ever you want with it.

its not a sin just looked down upon from other people
fantasizing is a sin though. no its not harmful if its 4 times a week; that's actually lower than a lot of people. if you want to stop though then you can just promise yourself to lay off for a week and then you wont feel that driven unless you like lay in bed naked lol.

Here we go again another myth that if you masturbate you are committing a sin. Why are we still so misinformed on the practice of masturbation? Boys and men, straight, bi, gay, single, married, divorced will masturbate.

Well...it's not harmful and I don't think it's a sin. You're not hurting anybody neither yourself, you are knowing your body, you're connected to it,you feel relaxed when you finish,it really relieves stress,it's good for your heart also. And on those nights that you can't sleep, that will help you.I know sometimes guilt appears but it fades because you feel healed.So......why would you want to eliminate such thing? Just relax and ENJOY!

First of all it's not harmful and it's a great stress reliever. As long as you do it at appropriate times and places then don't worry about it. If it's that big of a problem see a sex therapists or look in the phone book and find out if they have meetings in your town.

As far as it being a sin, you'll have to take that up with your God, but if it were harmful I would have been dead by 16. You won't grow hair on your palms or go blind, and it's great stress relief -- better than climbing a water-tower with a sniper rifle.
