we are accepting western ways of life as a normal life mainly b,coz of our education ,particularly the medium of education being English, and our failure at economic level.....now to move ahead in technology or economic areas we look towards the west...our government makes so much noise about foreign investment...so people also think that the west is best......and lack of work culture in gov. deptts. ,corruption at various levels have not done any good to our pride.so today's youth prefer to move out to western countries even tolerating racial abuse b,coz they can still live in a safe and secure society .
All this make them appreciate discipline of the west.
whenever the gov. apathy towards corruption and crime will change people will start looking towards India again even if it means slightly lower remunerations.

Hard to say.
When you speak of Indian culture, lets be honest, India is called a subcontinent for a reason. The variation there is about the same as Europe!!!
India has had profound cultural impact on european intellectuals for centuries and they are still European.
I suspect Indian culture is simply in the process of evolving because it is still alive and very much so. You will adapt foreign traditions but the British have had tea for 300 years!!! They did not become Indian.
Don't worry your cultures are very much alive and will continue to be, even if you do take some of the bad stuff from ours as well.

It is nothing but temporary eagerness to follow or justify new items like our modern amenities, if you have CTV I have also in need about CTV, laptop , AC etc. Our nation is thousands years old and having culture, etiquate like gurukul, to give respect our parents, teachers elders so don't in panic, so many styles have come in past and gone so We Indian are pride or proud to know that our Indian citizen are mentaly stable this is an age related factor to immitate other innocently and ultimately they will come back in main stream near future/shortly subsequently. Don't worry. I am Indian, meant for 'I Never Delay In Action'.
