i'm not a bad person but her friend came to me and explained that she had liked me before i met my girlfriend, i though about it and i said i would give it a try. This has been going on for 1 year now and now its a boiling point where her friend wants to tell her whats been going on between me and her. but i love my girlfriend i would want to lose her, help me out?

If you love your girlfriend, break it off with the friend, get to your gf before the friend and explain to her that you cheated on her for a year, and let your gf decide what she is going to do. You will be one up on the friend becasuse you got to your gf first.

There's no easy way to tell someone you have been cheating on them but at the same time your gf deserves to know the man you really are so she can choose what she wants to do about it. If you loved your gf you wouldn't have done this to her. So now all you can do is face the consequences of what she will do. Leave you or stay.

Sounds like no matter what you do at this point its going to cause alot of crap for you..Which you deserve, If you break it off with the other girl, shes going to tell your g/f just to piss you off, So its a no win situation here..Thats very deceitful on your part..
Maybe you should tell your g/f what you have been doing, so she don't find out from someone else..Let her make the decision whether your worthy of her love..

ceit has been going on for a year behind her back? And with her friend? You're going to lose her no matter who tells her, but you might be able to eventually have a friendship with her later on down the line if you man up and tell her yourself.

If you've been cheating on your girlfriend with her friend then you are both bad people!! You have to tell her~ it's not right to lie to her and sneak around behind her back. She's going to dump the both of you~ and who could blame her!! I would also suggest wearing safety gear when you tell her. The both of you deserve anything she says or does to you. If you love her so much then why are you lying to her, sneaking around behind her back, and CHEATING on her? Obviously you have no respect for her feelings and her love for you!

Having a one-off with her friend is fair enough, but to keep it going on a year is a stretch.
Be a man and pick the one you care for most - which I suspect is neither, as if you really cared for either of them you wouldnt be cheating on them....

You could try breaking it to her gently, or just blurt it out. Either way its going to hurt her like crazy, and seriously screw with her head.
It doesn't matter how you tell her, you will lose her and she will be hurt and angry
She will hurt. You will be hated for it. Just tell her as soon as possible so that finally she can see whats going on
