Hi, I donnu if this motherboard can take Intel core 2 duo E6600 processor or not.

If yes, will I get a great performance for gaming ?

The answer is NO.

Its a socket LGA775, it supports Pentium EE/Pentium D/Pentium 4 HT/Celeron D. But NOT Core 2 Duo \ Extreme
