I think you need to wait about five years before you can judge if this was the best draft ever. So far, it looks pretty impressive.

Um you failed to mention the best rookie this year Joseph Addai. Come on the man should have gotten rookie of the year. Over a thousand yards rushing and not even start one regular season game. That is a record he has set just this year. Never start a game and gain over a thousand yards that is incredible. And as a blocking back they dont get much better. This man is the all around package. I guess Indy didnt lose much after the Edge left for Arizona. Peace out.............Well have to see if it was the best class like 5 years down the road will give us a little hint.

Nope, so far it has only been ONE YEAR. Espically when you mention QBs, you never know for sure how they will pan out. Then you have Hester. He is a GREAT RETURNER. Put him on the D though and he isn't that great. In other words put him at the postion he plays offically and he isn't as good. Then you have some RBs that we aren't sure how they will look in the end. As to Bush, we should KNOW that was more hype then how great he really was. As to Addai, nothing against him but don't offer this hype up. Oh he was the first to get 1,000 without starting. Yeah but this isn't like a case where you have a team where the back-up doesn't come in until about the fourth quarter or third down back. He was somewhat of a main back. He just wasn't getting the starts. So yeah he is good but unlike some he wasn't really back-up.

no I would think the class 83 would be better Elway, Dickerson,Jim Kelly, Willie Gault, Marino Darrell Green, Dave Rimington, Ken O'Brien, Tony Eason, Todd Blackledge, Curt Warner. Yes I know hind site is 20/20 but there are at least 5 Hall of Famers in this list 4 in Green should get in soon hell he just retired last year I think

At this point 1983 wins easily, and will remain king unless these guys prove otherwise over the course of several years.
