Since they are always going off spontaneously they don't seem much use to me. Just a nuisance.

Might as well be, unless the owner is there to check it out. I wouldn't risk my health trying to stop someone from breaking into a car. After all, it's just a car. Most people just walk by it complaining that it's to loud.

Wilma, I save in ideas the sequence. WSB interviewed genuinely thieves who were operating the ballpark parking plenty. conceitedness plates and audible alarms were in all probability aims. I under no circumstances understood why they concentrated automobiles with conceitedness plates. vehicle alarms are impractical yet they're used more desirable for prestige than for the different reason. The chirping sound is meant to inform the international “hello, seem at me, I’m a huge shot.”

AFAIK, the legal requirement for modrn alarms is that they should be able to reset themselves after 30s to reduce the nuisance. if an alram is still going off after this time, contact the police and they will beat a path to the door of the owner.

mmmmm... either
1, you dont have a car you care about
2, you dont live in the city

yes, car alarms can be annoying, especially living on a main road like me, but are essential if somebody is trying to break into your car!!!!!!!!!!!! untill you can electrify the locks/windows/door handles its the only thing we can do!
