I live in San Antonio, TX, and it seems like every morning, I hear of something awful that happened overnight. This morning, they're reporting that an old man got run over and killed, a mother was arrested for trying to stab her 12 year old son to death, a pizza delivery guy got beaten nearly to death, and there were 3 armed robberies of convenience stores.
And that's a SLOW news day around here..........

Las Vegas and I believe they report the same news on every local program...course in California when I moved to Orange County the very first morning news reported a guy followed a woman for 12 miles to a Denny's parking lot where he shot her 8 times for not changing lanes to let him merge onto the 91 freeway

There is never anything interesting on my news. It covers the upper half of Michigan and all we hear about are squirrels and the weather. A couple of weeks ago there was a woman murdered by her soon to be ex husband and it was all they talked about for WEEKS. And most of that coverage was interviews of her co-workers that were upset about it (it happened at her work). It was really sad but thats all there was. Now if I turned on the Flint station, all it would be is crime. Im glad I live up here!!

I live in South Africa, farm murders, babies being raped, children kidnapped and mutilated to make traditional medicine, hundreds of rapes a day, highjackings on the highways every minute, armed robberies, theres no end to it.....so much for "The New South Africa"......

a brand long island situations author, actual mentioned in an editorial, that Bush is censoring the forged information from Iraq. definite, thats right, a liberal author, mentioned Bush is censoring the forged information popping out of Iraq, To make Iran seem worse. Makes ya ask your self, why that reporter, has by no skill reported any of that stable information popping out of iraq.

i use to live there briefly and i hated there especially on commerce street area where i live here my neighborhood is we are having a problem with murders it is scary it has been two coulpes and several elderly that live alone and they were nice people my neighborhood really used to be quiet now everyone is scare and we had the violent storm katrina here i wish you could move i want to also

Well... the latest news here is some guys kidnapped kids.... several... some 20 kids and sexually assaulted them and then killed them. Then, they threw the bodies in a drain.
