You're kidding right?
Kidnapping?
They are criminals who have been arrested, not kidnapped.
Would you prefer them to be left on the street to do it again?

If Congress enacts a law making it legal, then it remains legal until either Congress changes the law or the Supreme Court rules it unconstitutional. I believe that the Patriot Act is unconstitutional, and this is where this unlawful detainment comes from. We have a republican controlled government---Congress may be controlled by the Democrats, but the White House and the Supreme Court are owned by the Republicans. Republicans do not believe in individual rights because such benefits interfere with business and the Republican Party is the business party, the party of the elite. The Democratic Party is the party of the people, the party of the Bill of Rights. The two are diametrically opposed to one another. There really are two societies in our country and the Bush administration has made this clear---there are those that will have it all (Republicans) and those that will be denied everything (Democrats). The race for the White House in '08 is going to see the nastiest campaigning in American history. May God help us all.

Wrong. Do the crime, do the time.
The government is acting within its enumerated powers to arrest suspects. And the arrestees are given many rights and protections.
It might surprise, but everyone charged does not return to court. That's what bonds are for. And kidnapping, rape and murder are seriously violent crimes. The bonds will be high.

When a person is unable to assume the responsibilities that he has with his right (like respecting others rights) he loses his/hers. Arresting someone is now kidnapping. Your rights are not unlimited.
Would you prefer leaving that person on the streets to kidnap someone you love?

with out seeing or listening to the evidence, i could say that the subject became likely an sick-arranged prosecution. We deliver a Jury to deliberation with training that they ought to discover a individual in charge previous a sensible doubt or acquit. If the prosecutor did no longer foresee and discredit substitute situations, shame on him. remember that the guy's previous conviction might desire to no longer be a component of attention for the jury. From what I study, ya, the guy in all hazard became in charge, yet worse yet, he shouldn't have been strolling around loose interior the 1st place if he became convicted of raping a new child. confident, I do believe interior the death penalty for issues like homicide and rape.

Well I have wondered the same thing often. The whole presumption of innocence thing. To be truthful I think they do need to be detained (I can say it because I have been) to make sure they do not flee. Now I do believe that the accommodations before the trial should not be a jail cell it should be in accordance with the presumption of innocence.

You are right, for criinals who does the crime are traeted with full security in the prison with timely food and medical help.
The punushment should bring realisation in the criminals.
The law has to undergo modifications to rewrite the acts for traeting this type of criminals

Reevaluate the word "justice." It is not kidnapping. It is making someone accountable for their actions.

well, letting these people do these wrongs some more isn't right either. So they put them in jail, hope they are smart enough to realize that they themselfs are idiots and then eventually release them (if the crime is that petty)
