Recommend 4 hours for first charge

Edit: batteries have come a long way but you still need to charge them past 'fully charged' to ensure maximum life. It's not true to say that a battery cannot be charged past 'fully charged' - that is just the phone's system identfiying that it is fully charged. 24 hours is excessive though.

If it says it fully charged it cant charge any more.

Batteries for mobiles have come a long way since you had to give them a long charge the first few times,it doesnt make any difference now.

My new one said 1 hour and 10 minutes ,and its fully charged.

t-cellular is going to be the sole people who could have the settings. Ask them what the instruction manual settings could be for yet another Samsung telephone...they could desire to be waiting to get you those, and that they are going to be the comparable.
