I think she has gone above and beyond to help me out. What can I get her as a token of appreciation? Without spending alot of money.

A letter to her supervisor will probably mean more than anything. Clearly outline why you feel she's gone above and beyond. In addition to that, maybe a copy of the letter that you send should go directly to her along with a $20 restaurant gift certificate or something that's not too personal but that says "thank you."

Don't you think the 8%(or whatever it is in your state) of the transaction she was paid was enough? It is a realtor's job to get people together for the purpose of real estate trading hands; those that go "above and beyond" are the successful ones.
A note to her boss and a card to her is sufficient.

Putting an ad in the local newspaper bragging about her extra services and great attitude is the best thing you can do for an agent. That lets not only her boss and coworkers know how great she is, but also her competition, not to mention future customers.

The best things to give your Realtor

1. A simple thank you card
2. A letter to her broker highlighting some of the wonderful things she did.
3. Permission to you use as a reference

and most importantly...

4. Referrals!

Chocolates always good too. :)

Does she like wine? There are some nice gift baskets from Harry & David with chocolates and such.

I almost got my realtor one, until he did some messed up things after the sale. Long story.

allowing her to use your name in an ad as a satisfied customer ..
(without a last name)......so a photo of you infront of your new home with a letter....you can be added to her satisfied customer list..
i have seen realtors , when your on this list, send out a bottle of wine at Christmas, to just simply.. send out cards..my present one makes a donation to a local charity in my name...
p.s...they make a good commission..they can at least make a donation in my name...

Don't give money or gifts. We are regulated about this kind of thing. A letter is the best thing for your agent. Glad you are happy. That's what keeps us going.

You could write a letter to her boss.
Or how about cooking dinner for her in your new home?
