anyone else getting tired of microsoft's crap? my "new and improved" IE 7 frequently cancels my downloads, forcing me to use programs like getright to do it, and when im busy typing something or using a tab or window, it automatically switches focus to another window, not once, but 3-4 times, even if im working with another window. cant it wait till i get to it instead of getting bullied by a browser to work with the new tab/window? i have to fight with it to keep the window im working with in focus. no viruses/adware detected so far. i wonder how many people actually hate ms and think they have no other option... but then again this is what you get when you outsource labor to cheaper countries.

I run multiple computers all with ie7 and absolutely love it. Especially being able to tab from page to page. Since I occasionally do some online shopping, this feature allows me to price compare much easier. I've encountered no problems such as you are describing.

Been tired of MicroShaft's crap for a while. That is why I use as little as i possibly can and still function with the programs designed on Windows Architecture.

Mozilla Firefox is awesome...it doesn't run on the same architecture as IE...it has had the same features that IE7 is supposed to have...but has had it a lot longer and it actually WORKS!!. (i have been using Firefox since v0.6 it was great then...and has improved since...)

I tried IE 7 on a couple client PC's and it hosed them big time. Screwed up several important programs that I can't, for the life of me, figure out why a browser would touch...ended up uninstalling from the control panel/add remove and went back to IE6. I advise most folks to get the Mozilla Firefox browser and get away from the obtrusive Microsoft product.

I have had some problems trying to upload stuff on ftp. In general I like the tabbed search system, and I have never experienced any problems that you described. Maybe you have a virus? Sorry I don't know how to help you with that problem.

I took IE7 off for other reasons. It (IE7) does not really work right. Guess I will wait for IE10 or whatever. Solution: go to control panel>add/remove programs>find IE7 and remove it. That will restore IE6
