Je m'apelle means "my name is"

Literally it means "I call myself", but we translate it as "my name is..."

So it would be "My name is Helene"

Here are the translated lyrics:

Hélèneje calls me Helene

Helene and boys
1994

{Refrain:}
Helene, I am called Helene
I am a girl
like the others
Helene

I have my joys, my sorrows
they make my life
like your
I would like to find the love
simply to find the love

{with the Refrain}

Helene
if my nights are full
dreams of poems
I do not have anything others

I would like to find the love
simply to find the love
and same
if me am seen
in all the newspapers
each week

nobody awaits me the evening
when I return late
nobody makes beat my heart
when the projectors die out

{with the Refrain}

I would like to find the love

simply to find the love
and same
when on TV
you look at me
to smile and sing

nobody await me the evening
when I return late
nobody makes beat my heart
when the projectors die out

{with the Refrain}

Helene
and all my sorrows
will find the lapse of memory
one day or the other
when I would find the love
when I would find the love
