Purple, light green and golds work well, look for any specks of colours other than brown in your eyes, and try to pick them out..basically anything works well with brown, but usually greens and plums really make them pop.

Brown eyes can really benefit from apricot and warm peach tones in eye colors. I've attached links below: The first link is for a book called Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin; it is by far the best makeup application book I've ever seen. He goes into step by step detail on how to apply makeup and he uses examples on many famous hollywood actresses such as Julia Roberts, Madonna, and Winona Ryder. Check out the makeover he did on his mother, she looks 20 years younger!
The second link is for a makeup palette created by Pop Beauty, available on Amazon, through Pop Beauty, or Sephora.com. These colors are beautiful and you are given a wide variety of colors specifically chosen for Brown eyes. How fun! Hope this helps...

Try soft blues and soft greens, those colors always look good on a person with brown eyes. If you go to any makeup website they usually have pictures up with girls modeling make-up and you can see how it is done.

A swooshing of hazel on the lids up to a bit above the crease, a shimmering of a light peachy/soft white shade on your brow bone and a contour of forest green in your crease (blend well remember!!).
Hope that helps.

blue and green tones a well as golds and burnt oranges. intensity depends on skin tone. for fair use soft blue on the eyelid plum on the outer edge of the eye, and pink under the eyebrow. for medium to deeper skin tones, plum could be used on the lid into the crease area. line eyes with navy or plum color and black mascara
