HI TROY HERE FROM AMERICA,CAPS,YEAH I KNOW IM AMERICAN.
I lived there 5 years,got put im prison 5 months for a expired visa.
you stand in a lift they gotta shout and shake ya hand,in a pub they sit down next to you before you can say just popped in for quiet drink,asking question like....SO JOHN WHAT LANGUAGE YAWL SPEAK THERE IN THE UK..HONESTLY....!
AND YAWL HAVE BLACK PEOPLE IN ENGLAND.
Its a lack of insecurity.....yes we know usa is a rich country as is the uk,all we ask is a little dignity and decorum.
The funniest thing is the president,granted they had some excellent president,But George Bush......?Even a American would admit to being embarrassed of this man.
Though I enjoyed the usa I must admit that they have to be the most stupidest people I ever met,ignorant to the rest of the world,some didn't even know what the next state to them was.
If you asked a question they didn't know the answer to,The answer was ALRIGHTY THEN JOHN,HAVE A GREAT DAY,YALL COME BACK AND SEE US YA HERE.

maybe because some people have really good answers that they are willing to share with the rest of the world so that there is a wider verity of answers to questions (or visa versa)

I am an American. I have registered myself in YA/UK, for a reason.
This is because quite a few Americans are too serious for me. And often bore me. Most have no sense of humor, at least not one that matches mine or one that is even enjoyable.
Really when anyone US or other wise answers the way you have mentioned -all they do is prove their ignorance, OR age.... let them...I say.
This way we weed them out. Thin the herd.
Seriously, I do apologize for "my fellow American's" improper behavior.

well i thought we were welcoming of our us friends and they do give us a different view on the questions but i dont always understand some of my english answers either.

As for those retarded participants you refer to, I'm afraid that they are not confined to America...we have just as many of them in the UK.
I suspect we will just have to accept that they come with the territory...a bit like cockroaches...or viruses...
