Two points to consider: 1) Did you enter that lottery? If not, it's a scam. Don't even answer it. 2) If you did enter that lottery, have them send you a complete set of rules. The "entitlement" of winners does not get wiped out in a day or a week. Far more common is 30 days to a year to collect. Take your time and ask around.

1) did you participate in an Australian lottery? If no it's a scam.
2) If you did, make sure you were eligible to compete as a non citizen

Its a scam, either you have to send them a percent or a certain amount after you cash the "check" they send you or have been sent. Then the funds don't clear because its fraudulent and your out whatever money you might have used and what you sent. My sister-in-law fell for the same scam and she was out $500. It normally takes a few weeks before the bank has figured out its a fake, that is if its a good looking fake.

RUN and don't walk away from that my friend. It is just a way to get your personal information. IT IS A SCAM. Nothing is FREE. I live in the USA and get crap like this all the time from around the world from Hong Kong, to Canada, and everywhere else.

i might want to call the community lottery branch. it will be an outbreak so i does no longer open it. once you've and they are asking for any own information do no longer provide IT. in case you in truth received the lottery they have you ever bypass into an workplace to fill out paper artwork.
