Can 17 year olds get hot flashes? I just turned 17, and i've been getting alot of hot flashes lately, along with headaches and getting lightheaded. But my mum told me that I can't get hot flashes because i'm too young. Is she right?

You may be too young for those kinds of hot flashes but you are definitely having symptoms of something not being right with your body. You really need to get it checked out. It could be anything from heart disease to diabetes. GO to the doctor.

Go to a doctor. No, hot flashes are not normal for a 17 year old. Watch what you eat (is it related to a certain food?), watch the time of day they happen, keep a record of when you get them and under what circumstances. Then, after a couple days, go to the doctor and tell them.

Your mom may be a knowledgeable person but she is not the doctor .pls go to a doctor as it may be somthing else .good luck!

i think you need to go and see your doctor. not sure if you are going through the change its just one of those things that no one can explain....
