Hi guys..
I'm an amateur music producer and I recently established contact with a guy in London about working in his studio.
He said to me before we can take things further, they want to accept a 'show reel'.
So... does anyone know what the hell that is?

Its a recorded portfolio. Actors and actresses provide 'show reels' which are pasted together bits of the best work they have done. Its usually called a demo in the music biz - not sure why he called it a show reel.

its the reel of stuff you show those who you want to employ you! some of us just call it a portfolio... but then we may not be as pretentious
