I would,nt say i had an obsession with serial killers but i,m very interested in them i think it,s fascinating trying to figure out Y they do it i read everything i can when poss i love watching anything to do with it people think i,m a bit wierd i,m not even a goth i,m quite girly girly but i love to know what makes the mind tick and i dont think ur weird i also dont think u need help unless ur thinking about becoming 1 urself then maybe then u should get help

I don't consider it an obsession. It's just interesting. I read a lot of mystery/whodunit novels. Plus I studied criminology in undergrad and I'm in law school now, so that stuff has a special appeal. I don't "like" serial killers, but I still like to hear the stories.

Not an obsession as such, but a definite interest. They aren't at all "evil" like most people make them out to be- just about every one has a psychological problem caused by a traumatic event in his/her life. Ed Gein, for example, is the perfect demonstration of what obsessive parental control and abuse can do to a child. So, yeah, you're not a weirdo for being interested in the stuff, although I wouldn't recommend idolising or condoning their actions.

I do but its only cos i get really interested in how they do things and what leads people to be serial killers, i do think i have a slightly un healthy obsession though!

Yeah, future serial killers. If I lived next door to you I think I'd keep a close eye on my pets and install a new alarm system.

More with the police work that leads to their capture!
It is fascinating how out of the box police officers have to think when investigating serious crimes such as serial killings etc.

I dont know if it is an obsession but I always wonder what drove them to do these things, and why they had to do it again and again. I cannot understand what makes them do the final act and not pull back like we would.

I have read a lot on the subject-I guess trying to figure out how they think, their actions are so alien to me. Wouldn't really say an obsession.

I like to hear the story behind it all, like how they grew up and ended up like that, and how they mock the police till they make a mistake and get caught.
