I try and make the packed lunches for the next day or load the dishwasher, or sort the washing or something. Usually I fail, but I'm usually just watching some mind-numbing nonsense after a bad day at work, so it doesn't matter too much!!
Also, getting Sky plus fitted next week, so won't have to worry about it for too much longer!

When the ad's come on I mute the sound and talk to my wife.
I didn't have a TV for the past couple of years, so now I find adverts to be both confusing and far too loud, half the time I can't work out what product is being advertised.

I don't know, i have almost forgotten how annoying they are!!
i watch very little tv these days and prefer yahoo!!!!!!!
whatever turns u on!!??
to me, watching tv is too much of a selfish pleasure??
or they are not stimulating enuff.
my kid is the same. he spends most of his time chatting on msn. we is just a couple of social animals i guess!!!
there are some programmes which command my attention tho.
I saw a great Trisha the other day.
I must admit, she looks absolutely fantastic for a 50 y/o
or is it just that she looks fantastic!
anyway, there was this woman and her fella who has been a bit unfaithful. her mate told her that when she had literally just gone out, he texted her to say.. do you want to come round and play?
when questioned, he said yeah, he had, but it didn't mean anything. er....yeah, right!!!
er..hold on, i'll just get the momopoly out!
LOL!!!!!!!
It was just sooooo funny.
we have quite a good selection of films/dvd's so we are never short of entertainment.
sometimes i watch the late night quizzes tho cos they are funny
as well as slightly annoying. er...the breaks don't matter in those!!

I don't know what sky plus is, but I might put the TV on pause & grab something from the fridge, run to the bathroom, check on the mail, help with homework.....
When you're done, unpause & fast forward to the show!
