Your interests are different or you are differentiating things (that's natural).There will be a time in everybody's life when they will feel so .
our mind always likes to do some thing new and pleasurable it as it is the nature of the soul to enjoy !
Changing the job will help only to some extent, the best thing I feel is for you not to think that your doing the same repeatative job ,but change the way you do the same job.

You are bored because work shouldn't exist as work.
Growing ,breeding a child and educating him is a titanic work that it is still unrecognised .
We must call work what we need to do and use ,-cook ,clean , make a chair , and what we like to do and it is usefull painting , singing , writing ,counting if you like to count, selling uf you like to sell. But being oblige to go somewhere and just stay there if you don't like , but you need because you need money to live , is not work is a social abuse caused by exploitation and lack of loving people .
I could do everything to earn money if I would be respected at work ,as in a bussiness of my family , getting the money I deserve , not only 10%from what I deserve, IF I can stay there only for how much I can , them I want to go home if I feel so .....

Because you feel you have to be there...it's a job! If you can find things that make it more fun to be there....a pciture or flowers to brighten up the day, music at your desk [if you have one], personal items that make you smile might help to relieve some of the boredom...or perhaps looking for a more exciting job might be your answer. The reason you are bored at work is because your work doesn't challenge you. You find the work to be banal and unfulfilling.

AS LONG AS YOU CONSIDER WORK AS WORK YOU WILL FEEL BORE,HOWEVER IF YOU CONSIDER WORK AS GAME OR ENTANGLED WITH WORK,YOU WILL ENJOY AND NOT FEEL BORE.
