does anyone out there have any idea if anymore star wars movies will be made as i've come across statements on the net,that either one of his children or another director will take over as george states he himself won't be doing any more,any truth in this?

From what I heard from a friend of mine who is by far one of the biggest Star Wars nerds there is (He has all the action figures and still has them in all their protective cases) Lucas will not be doing any other movies. there was speculation he might do the 3 last ones with Luke's children and Leigha and Han's kids and some dark struggle between them (there's a book if you're interested) but no movies from George, he claims he is done.
The person below me is correct I think, I heard the same thing about a TV show too. I thought it sounded like a horrible idea however :)

George Lucas will not direct any more Star Wars movies. There will be another animated series, as well as a live action show that will be on television. However, if someone else wants to direct any new movies, they will have to go through a lot of red tape...that is if George allows any new movies to be made.

George Lucas is making a TV seires about Star Wars, and encouraging more people to write books on the Saga, but in an interview he said that he will not be making sany more star wars movies and instead continuing the Indiana Jones saga with Speilburg.

I really wish, considering I am the biggest Star Wars fan out there. But No, not by George Lucas. And it is VERY doubtful that anyone else would make the movies considering there are a bunch of legal matters.

George should team up with genndy tartoscokvscky (I cant spell his name) to make new clone wars like before episode 1 because theres a lot about old sith people like the one emperor papaltine is talkingf about in episode 3. I think it would be amazing.

they are planing to make a series but I do not believe any more movies are being made
