Finish it. We are responsible to help the Iraqi's get things going--although if the Iraqi's don't lift a finger to help--then they do so at their own demise. I don't like the way this war was handled--but no president has ever had to fight a "PC" war before. Hopefully our troops will be given THE FREEDOM to conduct this war like a war and kill/capture the bad guys without restraint. Had they been able to do that all along--they'd be home by now.

This is a rhetorical question because as Iraq is now there will never be a "finish" to what we have started. The US invasion and elimination of a totalitarian regime opened the door for the sort of anarchy we are seeing now. The only way to "finish" what we have started is to kill off all the insurrectionists and anybody associated with them, which is about half the country. The best way to do this is to nuke every single major city and reduce everything to rubble. Then they will either (1) know we are serious, or (2) be dead. This will bring peace and finish what we started. So first option, to finish the job, is clearly not a viable possibility, which leaves only option B, which would then require the Iraqis to finish the job on themselves which we started. It is cheaper for US taxpayers to let Iraqis kill themselves on their own without spending a billion dollars a week for the US military to do it. Either way, they will end up dead, so the most cost-effective way for the US is to let the Iraqis finish the job we started.

We need to finish the job. That won't be in six months it may not be in six years .I think all the talk of discontent is all that keeps some of the violence going ,some of it though is deep resentment and that does not go away quickly. The hard feelings and accusations are still around from our civil war. I don't think Iraq is truly in a civil war but the resentments are comparable.

Even if we weren't in Iraq, we'd still need to be in the region for our national security.
We need to stay and do what's necessary until Iraq is stable.
We're also turning up the heat on Iran, so it's also in our favor to stay since Iraq borders Iran.

the subject is maximum individuals concept it became going to be a real conflict. We take place, blow up their junk and something that would desire to lead them to a hazard, and pass abode. What wasn't envisioned became the particularly humane (susceptible) technique of in reality turning out to be a police rigidity interior the area the place we did no longer drop bombs or hit them with artillery, yet instead went in there with floor troops to envision out civilian homes and root out an enemy that had no uniform. infantrymen passing out soccer balls and candy getting blown up by ability of suicide bombers extremely than actual scuffling with what a real conflict is. If human beings understood how poorly controlled and run the conflict became going to be, they does no longer have agreed with it. i wanted Saddam out and that i became happy on the preliminary component of the conflict the place the U. S. took out militia bases, statues of Saddam, and then finally killed him. i did no longer like a number of of the country construction of a civilization that oppresses women folk and, frequently, does not want the U. S. to be there.

If we leave anytime soon the terrorists will have access to unlimited oil to fund their homicidal activities. We must stay for as long as it takes for Iraq to be secure.

Finish the job, or there will be much more terrorism. Thank you US military for having our backs. You guys and girls are our best. I sleep well knowing you've got our ski's and are hunting down terrorism where they sleep and eat instead of where I sleep and eat. Salute.
