If you were told that you are going to loose your memory but you have the chance to pick only one solid memory (any kind of event etc.) which you will remember and forget everything else, what would that memory be ?

Think: You will remember nothing except for that one memory. You will remember no one except for the people in that specific memory.

To answer this question you will have to think who are the people you care about most, the ones you are willing to forget everyone else for. The memory you would never replace for anything in this world.

I would choose to remember the event of being told I was going to loose my memory. I would want to remember exactly who told me, where, and other datails of the event. With this memory, I believe, I would have a good starting point in case I ever wanted to prove them wrong and reclaim some of my memories.

My mother. She could fill me in on the rest!
Actually I do suffer from memory loss due to a head trauma - and this is exactly what I did. I still don't remember many things but I have someone I trust and love to fill in the blanks. It's comforting.

when i was alone in the room, everything was dark, i don't want to forget that darkness, darkness which melts everything, which lightens everything, which is eternal
though there are no people in that memory, but if i really love some people they will meet me again, and even if its all washed from brain it will always remain in the heart
:)

It would be my wife.
I love her very much and would always want to remember that this is the only woman I truly love and never want to forget this.

It would be pathetic if I forgot that I was married to my darling wife. :=)
