Mutiply the decimal number by 10,100,1000 depending upon the amount or numbers after the decimal point then divide it by the same number you multiply with
eg: 28.267
= (28.267 X 1000)/1000
That will make it 28267/1000

to change a decimal into a fraction is simple. all you have to do is just see how many digits are there on the right hand side of the decimal{point},, count them. then in the next step you just remove the decimal and make that number as a numerator and for the denominator, write 1 followed by the zeros equal to the number of digits that were there after the decimal. then just make that fraction into its simplest form.

Okay so her's how I do it..
Suppose you have a number lke 1.234
In fraction it would be 1234/1000
(later You can divide it to its lowest terms)
It like you divede the number by 1+ the no. of zeros that equal the number of digits after the decimal point.
Hope I didnt confuse you... :)

Technically, they're already fractions. Just put them over 10, 100, 1000, etc and reduce to lowest terms. For example .1 = 1/10, .01 = 1/100, .001 = 1/1000, etc.

Take the top number(the numerator) and divide it by the bottom number( denominator). :) For example, the the decimal is .7359, then your fraction is going to be written out like 7359/10000.

easy. juz take the decimal point and do it over 10. then simplify it.
lets say.. 10.5 = 10 5/10
= 10 1/2

example : 0.34
= 34/100 or 17/50
0.034
= 34/1000 or 17/500
0. 45
= 45/100 or 9/20
0.5
= 5/10 or 1/2
do you get the logic? i prefer to give examples rather that to explain it....
