is there any toys or consoles that are popular in new zealand?

The ebay link was really a great ressource ... just that there is no ebay in New Zealand. Here we have TradeMe instead (http://www.trademe.co.nz).
But I agree, that most of the Toys are the known ones from all over the world, like Barbies, Play Stations, Bob the Builder etc.
Sports is different to the US, rugby is popular instead of football, Cricket instead of Baseball and the girls play Netball instead of Basketball.
And then there are some national "Icons" like the Buzzy Bee, Wooden toys and self made boats.

Pretty much the same as anywhere else. XBox, Playstation, etc, etc. We're not really that different from anywhere else!
