First, you have to remember that six years have passed. We often see relationships through a blurred, rosy (sometimes out of focus) lens; the issues that broke up the relationship blur, and we only see the good times and laughter. Take a minute; if the relationship was so great, why did you break up? Those issues may still be there, despite marrying others and six years passing. How fair is starting over to the others in your lives? She is married (happily or unhappily), and you have a child. There are now others in the equation; it's not just about you and her anymore. The spouses and children could be scarred by your decisions; make them carefully. Lastly, we all have residual feelings that linger for years regarding first true loves. They are the delicate time in our lives; very often, they are our first true sexual and emotional experiences. That is to be valued, but the reality of the situation...that's why they're first loves. We grow and mature, and discover a deeper, more enduring ability to love and grow with someone else. If it is meant to be, let the current relationships take their course, and go from there. If it's not meant to be, take the experience as one of many that will impact your life. Good luck and God bless.

I think some of these people who answered over looked the Married part and she has two kids. What do you think her husband will do?? I guarentee he won't sit back and take it. And her kids would be put into a living hell if you split their parents up. You sound selfish and so does she.

Im sure it would be hard. But be honest with yourself...seriously. You don't want to throw away what you have now do you? Everyone wants to rekindle that magic we had when we were younger, but what was...was. If you are questioning your being faithful, put your energy into repairing or ending the relationship you have now. Please don't live a life of guilt and regret. I PROMISE, the passion will not outweigh that.

The big problem is she's MARRIED that should tell you something, if you want to be friends nothing wrong with that but trying to take it any further would make you both look bad and make her an adulterer

hello,
are you crazy!!!she is hello MARRIED and if you try to get with her what if she stays with her HUSBAND????you may be single but she isn't....and you would be crazy because what if hubby gets mad enough to hurt her of you in the fact????do you men think before you react????don't let her pull you back in and leave you hangin for her husband....this is just my thinking i would tell her she has to get a divorce and then you can work on getting back together but till then leave her be.....good luck

that's very selfish. of both of you. when you cheat your not just hurting your wife/ her husband and yourselves...but your children.

is one night worth breaking your children's hearts forever? is one night worth hearing WHY daddy? for the rest of your damn life?

think about that.
