Not at all.Yet you may be infertile for other reasons. So get thay aspect checked out independently. To get rid of the original problem, make a soup of fish skins and fins with some flavouring agents like fried onions, and have it in small doses, fresh before regular meals. If you do not like the taste or smell of it, choose any vegetable rich in Magnesium mineral and all sphincter muscles which tend to constrict will learn to relax, even if you have a history of Phobia towards sex.

Vaginismus is involuntary contraction of the vaginal muscles on sexual contact. It does NOT mean you are infertile.
It's all about relaxation Nikki, relaxation and trust. You need to make love VERY slowly and have your partner be VERY patient with you. Lubrication also helps, so use plenty.
Foreplay is ESSENTIAL for you and lots of it, so you need to be teaching your partner what works for you and what doesn't. When he's doing it right, tell him and likewise if he's not.
Hope this helps hunny.

Vaginismus is a condition which affects a woman's ability to engage in any form of vaginal penetration, including sexual penetration, insertion of tampons, and the penetration involved in gynecological examinations. This is the result of a conditioned reflex of the pubococcygeus muscle, which is sometimes referred to as the 'PC muscle'. The reflex causes the muscles in the vagina to tense suddenly, which makes any kind of vaginal penetration -- including sexual penetration -- either painful or impossible.

A vaginismic woman does not consciously control the spasm. The vaginismic reflex can be compared to the response of the eye shutting when an object comes towards it. The severity of vaginismus varies from woman to woman.

No it doesn't mean you are infertile. It just means that you are nervous about making love with some one. You can't get your muscles to relax enough to let intercourse happen.
