After reading other questions on this site, id say sexual dissatisfaction with partners! - boredom! - being flattered by a friend! - an acquaintance with a work colleague! - drunken night out! - or just pure lust!,

people have affairs because their needs r not met within the marriage. The option of splitting is ither to difficult or involves kids therefore an affair is an easier option.
People don't have affairs because they are aware of the pain they cause themselves and others. They r wise enough to know it will end in pain and hatered. They are strong enough to either work out the relationship or leave.

nothing if i found I needed or wanted one then i would tell my boyfriend honesty is the best policy.
I love my boyfriend with all my heart and wouldnt and couldn't bear hurting him.
he is the most amazing guy has everything i would possibly want in any "fling" so i dont need one.
you would be obviously missing something in your relationship to have an affair so if you are missing something talk it through

What is said to inspire people to do it, is attention, a feeling of need, alot of damage in your current relationship, and some men just get off on sleeping around.

Well after thinking a little about it.
A fling . . . add beer.
An affair . . . an enjoyable fling.
Not me personally, I would feel far too guilty and couldn't possibly do it.

Nothing. If your in-love with someone why would you want to put them through that.
If I was promised a bj all the time however, that might do the trick ; )

my sister and i both went through this phase. we are both married i have been married 6 yrs. she..8 yrs. there became a time when are hubbies stopped giving us that special attention...i didn't feel like i was sexy or attractive. he was busy with his hobbies and i wanted more attention, so i started looking for it from another man. it would just start out as flirting, then i started wanting more..like dates...kissing. i finally came to reality and ended it. basically you feel lonely...it's not his fault or my fault it's both our faults.

I would never do anything of the sort, being happily married with kids, but my avatar might be tempted if your hot little avatar suddenly materialized in his bit of cyberspace ;-)

Nothing.
I couldn't be unfaithful to my girlfriend, I have too much respect & love for her to do that.
(And if I fell out of love with her, I would break up with her rather than cheat on her)
