After reading a few "opinions" about this topic, does anyone relate to a Gay man, meaning he's attracted sexually to another man and that's where it ends? The acting straight part refers to behavior and other parts of his lifestyle.. It's not about how much you can lift, or about pretending to be someone you're not. It's about living and behaving like people that are heterosexual getting married, talking and dressing without being any different from the "stereotypical" queeny, femanine homosexual that labels the entire population. The one and only thing that has meaning in my life about "gay" is sex. Anything else I eat, dress, want, or do has nothing to relate with it. Kind of like "straight" people without being gay.

Dude...that's me. And a lot of others.

Stereotypes exist because of precedent only. If you don't fit them...fine.

There are many people that have a gender nonconformity. I believe some of them could be born with it, but also know some can learn characteristics that cause them to have a gender nonconformity.
Gender nonconformity can show up in the voice and actions one does.
Not all gay people have a gender nonconformity.
Homosexuality is constructed in a person, any person it can happen too.
It is true that most children born with a gender nonconformity do not get a diagnoise or treatment from early age, and a high amount of these kids will be prdisposed to homosexuality issues.Often they think they are born gay.
Children without a gender nonconformity can become gay. For instance a child at 4 may be molested by someone of the same gender, and at a young age maybee the child does not know it is wrong, so the child may even precieve innoscently that it is likeable. Even if the molestation stops, the child forgets, later it could become an issue with homosexuality because the child forgot making or constucting the choice even innoscently.
As I said homosexuality is constructed.
The Formula For Producing A Homosexual
This formula can be illustrated in this way:
A Predisposition
Toward Homosexuality
Plus
That First
Homosexual Experience
Multiplied By
Pleasurable and Positive
Homosexual Thoughts
To Which Is Added
More Homosexual
Experiences
Multiplied By
More Pleasurable
Thoughts
Not every child has to be molested either, some children form attractions because of touches, kisses, ect.

I really like (am turned on by) guys who don't act gay or nelly. I'm not an 'in your face' gay and have more friends and more in common with straight guys or g0ys. I don't flaunt being gay and they are comfortable around me even when they're naked at the gym, in the shower, steam room or hot tub. And we just talk. It's nice. It's a guy bonding thing I guess. I've often been ask if I have a wife or kids. I find it complimentary.

We are not all flaming queens :)

More importantly, there is no act. you have painted two stereotypes as extremes and you want to know if there is a crossover.

We behave as we behave, no acting. I behave as any man behaves. That I should enjoy "being" with men is just a difference.

Consider the G0ys ... (have I just started another flame war - I've been off here for some time and only recently returned)

ok i have a fairly large build i do construction i drive a buik (which i repair myself) i dont have a lisp i dont talk with my hands. unless i was drunk (i can flame up a little when im drunk) you could not pick me out in a crowd of str8 people. THIS IS NOT BECAUSE IM HIDING this is just how i am. thats not to say i dont have a few stereotypical gay traits. I like to cook, I was in theatre, i occasionally watch a musical. but i think thats because as a gay person i was forced to have a more open mided view about the world and i think if you had a more open mind you might realise you might like some of the things you avoid just because they are "gay"

When people say they 'act straight' I assume they are 'acting' and not being themselves. That is fine for them but I would avoid them because I do not like people that 'act' I enjoy people who live. I could care less of you are the butchest guy in the bar or the nelliest I just want you to be YOURSELF.
