Because they are homosexual and love eachother and want to be commited to eachother for the rest of their lives. Some women marry women too! It's not really that different than heterosexual relationships if you stop obsessing about genitals that is.

Simple answer: because they're homosexuals. The complex answer: because they have found someone in their lives that complete them. They have found a companion, friend and lover that they want to spend the rest of their lives with. Because they want the world to know that they value this relationship, and want to affirm their belief in it and their love. Just like straight people. Good luck and God bless.

It's because they prefer to marry someone of the same gender. It's a sexual preference. I don't have anything against gay relationships, but marrying...having this so called "marriage ceremony and signing a contract...with all the legalities" is a bit too much for me.

Some males are attracted towards other males, it happens because of hormonal dis-balance. That's why they start different relations with them, even become gay, so they decide to stay together but why do they get married.........you better ask any gay.
