Not sure that they will be able to detect the sex of the baby yet as too early. Normally at the 20 week scan when they do all the tests. measurements etc then they will be able to get a clearer view of the baby, i.e will be loads bigger and hopefully laying in a position that they will be able to tell the sex. Good Luck xx

it is too early to tell you the sex of your baby at 16 weeks. The 20 week scan is more likely to give you the information you need. Hwoever this can still be wrong on occasions so don't buy too much pink or blue before the baby is here.

I think it is still too early, they will tell you at your 20 week scan as long as the baby doesnt have its legs crossed lol

Very unlikely, I´m 18 weeks and still not 100 % sure what it is. Going to the doc again on the first of February hopefully the doc will tell us that is tis a boy 100% sure...

Between 15 -16 weeks with my son they told me they thought it was a boy and at 20 weeks they confirmed it was definitely a boy!! Alot of doctors wont tell you until they know for sure though!! Good Luck!!

They should be able to tell you. I went for my first scan at 13 weeks and it the baby kept still they told me they would be able to tell but they may be reluctant to tell you so you will have to ask them

they could tell my daughter at 16 weeks she had to go to a high risk doctor because of hypertension and he does an ultrasound every 6 weeks but he told her that they would verify the anatomy at her 22 week scan but he was right it is a girl.

No it is probably too early to tell. Sometimes you can never tell. It depends on what way the baby is lying as certain things are not always visible

Probably not. While they say sometimes you can find out at 15 weeks, being about 18-20 weeks is better! Good luck though, hope you do!
