Purple?If that's the wrong answer it's my favorite color anyway. I don't know why, it just is. They put a purple Robe on Jesus along with the crown of thorns and acted as if they were worshipping a King. Little did they know , they were worshipping the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I wonder if they hung there heads in shame?

Purpura, originally a color resembling dried blood. It was made for royalty from a certain shellfish, it took thousands of shellfish to dye a garment, therefore making the dye extremely expensive; eventually an artificial dye, which we now know as purple was created, but the idea that purple is for royalty still survives.

Color(s) that signify affluence, royalty and loyalty? Why that would be... Royal blue from where we also get 'true blue' for loyalty. Also... rich purple for affluence.

in malaysia..its either gold/yellow
back then..like a long time ago..the society wasnt allowed to wear anything in gold/yellow..as it was the colour of royalty
today, its allowed...but those from the royalty continue to wear this colour for formal functions etc
