came to take over the majority votes in Congress? Are there any that you know of that are ready to pass? The minimum wage bill was not passed? And now where is that going? in the trash? So you think we need a better economy first and more jobs before we can get a pay hike. And don't we need to get rid of these companies that are hiring all hispanic workers? Like 200 in one factory and many are illegals?

Very little

Bush has very few items on his table, none of which benefit the average citizen.

The minimum wage and other bills so widely touted in the press were not introduced by Bush or any other Republican, and none have become law.

Our leadership/representation is a much more serious problem than illegal immigration.

Limiting the spread between highest and lowest pay in our corporations would go a lot further towards reducing poverty than any minimum wage bill.

It is true, if there were no employment opportunities, there would be very little illegal immigration problems. The laws are already on the books to solve this non-issue. Feel a little distracted from the real issues?

Republicans are are all balls and no brains, the Democrats are all brains and no balls, and the average citizen is no balls and no brains.

Laws on Minimum wage and employment opportunities for citizens must be prioritized by the Bush Administration and Congress to improve the economic stature of the people rather than concentrating on the Iraq war.

No, I think the country will remain in gridlock for the next two years with very little getting done. Everything else (including the war in Iraq) will be pretty much status quo.
