can anybody please explain the story of HBK, BRET HART, VINCE.
i did not watch wrestling thosedays so please tell me the story

If you could watch the documentary "wrestling with shadows" it explains and documents all of it. but to summarize it. Brett had signed a long term contract with WWE and Vince. Well WWE at the time was losing ratings and WCW was really flying high. Vince wanted Brett to let him void the long term contract. Brett was offered more money from WCW to come wrestle over there. At the time Brett was the WWE champion. Vince wanted Brett to drop the belt in Canada at the survivor series to Shawn Michael's. Brett told him that he did not want to lose in Canada in front of his home fans and that he would lose clean the next night on Raw. Vince told him that would be OK. At survivor series Brett talked to the ref before the match and was assured that things would go as planned. During the match Shawn done a reversal or something and hooked Brett in the sharpshooted and the bell rang. Brett never tapped or nothing. They awarded Shawn the belt and Brett spit right on Vince from the ring. In the back Brett actually assaulted Vince for screwing him. It has been awhile since i seen the show but I believe i summarized it correctly. You should watch that documentary it is well made.

It was called the Montreal Screwjob. It was Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart for the WWF Championship. HBK but Hart in his own finisher the Sharpshooter. Bret wasn't going to tap, but Vince Mcmahon came out and ordered the referee to end the match in a no-contest, ruining Bret Hart's chances at the WWF Title. That's how Bret got screwed. I forgot what PPV it was at I think Summerslam.

It all started with the Iron Man match at Wrestlemania 12, also known as the single greatest match in WWF history. Bret and Shawn slugged it out for an hour with no man having the edge at the end of the hour. Since there was no prior stipulation for a tie, Bret felt he won and marched out of the ring with his belt. It was then that the order came down that there MUST be a definitive winner. Bret was visibly pissed at this, even moreso when he eventually lost.

As a true Canadian I will give you the story. A lot of these guys have the wrong match, but a few are just missing details. Bret decided to leave to go to WCW. He was officially the highest paying wrestler in history with this move. He didn't want to lose the title in Canada to Shawn, instead he wanted it to end in a huge brawl with dx and the newer heart foundation. Vince agreed to it, or so we thought. The fight was good and Shawn put Bret in the sharpshooter towards the end of the match. Bret was then supposed to reverse the sharpeshooter into his own (like he did against sting a few months later, as a smack to wwe). As Bret grabbed at shawns right ankle (which you can see if you watch the clip) Vince, who was at ringside, told the ref to ring the bell. The crowd was confused and Michaels pretended he was as well. Brett flipped out, spitting in Vinces face, destroying tv monitors. The fans threw trash at Shawn. Shawn danced to the back and when confronted by Bret, Shawn said he was just as confused as Bret was( Shawn later revealed that he knew the whole time). Bret walked into Vinces office, after Vince repeatedly refused to let him in. Bret punched Vince in the left eye. When asked what happened, Bret replied "Vince ran into my fist." Bret's wife, at the time, came to the back and flipped out on wrestlers HHH, Animal from legion of doom, and others. Bret eventually left wwe and used the incident for story lines. WCW misused Bret's talent, and even though Bret held the WCW heavyweight title, his true talent was never used correctly.

shawn micheals screwed bret:bret and shawn used to have alot of rivals together but at won event shawn had a match with bret and wat happend was bret pinned shawn and bret though he won but the ref said that shawn had his foot on the rope which bret said he didnt.Bret went back to the ring and shawn sweet chined music him and beat him for the title.

stone cold screwed bret:At the royal rumble 1997 there was that monemet were austin was elimated but the refs never saw it because they were spiting up a fight between terry funk and mankind.After austin got threw out by bret he went back in to the ring and elimated vader and the undertaker and when bret elimated diesel he should of won but the refs never saw austin go over the top rope.As bret elimated diesel austin came from behind and pushed bret over the top rope which made austin win and it made bret mad.

vince screwed bret:Bret was angry with vince for not helping him when he was screwed and at one match with bret and micheals vince came in and attacked bret which vince said don,t make DQ
let the match still go on untill there is a pin.Bret was shocked that vince came in but bret then got rolled up bret by shawn and shawn retain the title which then made bret get all angry and start
swearing on the tv.
