White people threatened by a hispanic cultural invasion?

Why would this changing trend cause white America to go into panic mode?

Why is it so terrible that you have to speak two languages in a country? Many countries have several languages.

What will you do when they take back by regions stolen by the US centuries ago simply by populating these regions?

Italian invasion some dacades ago brought a lot of bad things (Mafia), but a lot of good artists (a lot of your best singers and actors for example)and good italian food (f.e.pizza) americans would never know.
The only invasion in America which canceled a whole cullture was when they killed all the indians. lol.
I guess the so called "invasions" can bring good and bad things. You just have to take control of the bad ones..
As for languages. I live in Italy, near Switzerland, and almost all of the siwss people speak three languages.
I love americans, but maybe they are right to be scared. They are still learning correct english!! :-) Just kidding..

I think its causing Americans to go into a panic mode because it is illegal immigration There are many problems that come with millions of people illegally migrating in. I don't think its necessarily terrible to have to speak two languages. But, I think it ought to work both ways. The Hispanics coming to the USA should know English as well. They did not have their regions stolen.
Indians were the ones who had their land stolen. I just think all of the effort to escape into America should be used in protesting against their own government.

If people (anyone not only White) want to learn Spanish or another language that should be up to them.

Hispanics are not the only ones influencing society, the Asians are too. So are Muslims and Hindus.

America should not go into a panic mode, that's just ridiculous! People are going to change if they want to, not because they are forced to. Unlike the pilgrims who came to this country and invaded it, and forced their religion.....so if society is afraid of changes, then they should have been afraid a long, long time ago when it first happened.

Your question is worded very carefully to mislead and provoke.

I don't think it is a question of white people being threatened.
Mexico is not a threat. Mexico has never been a threat and she never will be. Although Mexico is much older than the USA, she is still a underdeveloped third-world nation steeped in poverty.
If it were not for the white Europeans from Spain, Mexico would not have her Spanish Language. She would not have her Spanish architecture, Spanish family names, Catholic religion, modern education, peso, and much more. Her people would still be wearing leaves.

Before the influence of white men from Spain, the native people of Mexico were scattered tribes of Indian, Aztec, and Mayan descent. White men from Spain establish Mexico and gave her a heritage.

It is wonderful to be bilingual. I speak several languages fluently.
However, I did not expect Americans to learn Thai, Mandarin, French, or Japanese for my sake. When I lived in France, I learned to speak French. I would not expect the French people to accommodate me because of my own ignorance and irresponsibility.

I worked and studied hard to learn the English language so I would not be a burden to American society. I also went through the proper and legal immigration process to live here. I did not sneak across the border illegally and then get mad at Americans for not being Chinese or Thai. That is ignorant.

I was recently in an automobile accident in Dallas. A Mexican woman driving her husband's pickup truck hit my vehicle. She only spoke Spanish and was unable to communicate with me or the police officers. Although she lives in the United States, she is unable to function outside of Mexican communities in Dallas. The whole incident was very inconvenient for me, the police, and the stranger who finally volunteered to translate for us. An incident that would normally take 30 minutes lasted almost 2 hours. She did not have any insurance. All this occurred because the woman is NOT bilingual.

As a resident of Dallas Texas, I know that many Hispanics are NOT bilingual. They cannot speak, read, or write English. Only some can.

Why do Mexican people deride Americans for being American and speaking English in their own country?

If I move to Mexico, would the Mexicans change for me? Would they learn English or Chinese so I can fit in?
I highly doubt it.

There are FREE English classes available all over Texas. Mexicans are too lazy or proud to attend them.

This is American turf. While many uneducated Mexicans believe it was stolen from them, it was actually won in battle. Americans were the winners and Mexico was the loser. It is time to recognize American conquest and Mexican surrender. Other US lands were purchased from Mexico and the agreed prices were paid.
It's time to get over it.

Don't forget "The December Mistake" and the billions of US dollars Americans gave to Mexico and her economy to hold up her failing economy. The Mexican peso and the economy would have been flushed down the toilet if not for the goodness of Americans.
Mexicans should show much more respect to their American neighbors. They are guests in this country.

White people are not threatened.
Why is it that only Mexicans are unable to keep up or compete in American society. Vietnamese immigrants are very successful. You don't have to know rocket science to be prosperous and happy in the USA.
Mexicans and blacks are the only ones whining and complaining.
