I used to be well scared of them but i do think they are amazing.
They move in such a bizare way and dont feel like they look. They feel really nice and it can be therepuitic to hold (a tame) snake. And when they eat they do cool stuff with their jaws. They're just pretty amazing and like no other animal.
I have seen them in the wild when I've been abroad but am more scred of them there coz i know some can be horrible. I think if one went for me i'd be running way faster than you to get away!!!!!!

i have around 50 snakes, snakes are easy to take care of and most are pretty calm. they dont go out and attack people even the most aggressive snakes will try and get away first. and for saying they are evil what makes them evil ? dogs kill more people a year they snakes do so are dogs evil, some dogs attack people for no reason. i hjave venomous snakes even the cobras try to get away first and only come at you when running doesnt work. i like dogs too just so everyone knows lol. most people that are afraid of them have never handled one, try and handle a few nice ball pythons or corn snakes and then see how evil they are.

I like my corn snake. She's a very easy, interesting pet to care for. Not evil at all. My almost 9 year old son either wants a corn snake or bearded dragon for his birthday. Reptiles are a very different kind of pet that say a dog or cat, but I do enjoy the one we have, and look forward to getting at least one or two more in the future.

I really don't likes snake... ecspecially after SOAP (snakes on a plane) The only thing scary about that movie was the media attention
I can see the Appeal though, there ascoiated with evil (satan in the garden of eden), and im gothic, so theyre still
pretty cool.
I don't have a fear of them because i've never encounted one that was ready to attack me,
That really would change my Mind
And there (from my knowlede) is nothing theraputic about a snake
(well besides the fact that you can use there venom as a antiodote)
Hard question and yet so simple.

I don't understand why people think Snakes are disgusting and why people fear Snakes ,a reptile is a reptile ,the only thing what makes these creatures vulnerable is, that they have no legs to run away from danger ,
I view them to be just like another Reptile,
I am fascinated with them ,but then again i am fascinated with all animals living past and present,
Those who fear Snakes are not usually comfortable with mice ,i think it has all some thing to do with the upbringing
and understanding certain living creatures,lol

I used to be a bit afraid of them but I really do try to love all animals so one day I went to Jersey Preservation Trust and asked about the snakes. I then had a boa constrictor wrapped around my neck. He was not cold blooded at all and in fact felt very warm. I was so glad I did this. However tarantulas are different. Spiders are a no go area

I went to the pet store and held a small snake, only to impress my family. But yea I hate snakes with a passion. I go hysterical when I see them in the wild. After I held the snake, I washed, and washed and washed. I will never do it ever again. And the thought of a snake eating a mouse. Yuck!! Of course I hate mice and rats also.

I have always enjoyed snakes. They can be trained. I had mine trained to crawl up the side of her aquarium and just stick her head out whenever the bedroom door was opened. Kept my mom out of my bedroom for almost two years. I'm not all that fond of poisionus snakes but I do like the larger ones...Pythons, and Anacondas. I knew a guy years ago that had a traveling reptile zoo, he owned a 21 foot python...My daughter fell in love with that snake when she was just a year old...she wanted to take it home. I wouldn't have minded but then I wouldn't doubt our Doxie would have ended up "missing" one day....

I prefer torching them with a flame thrower. Maybe those huge serpents, like the boa or python, can be a pet but those cobra, rattlers, black mamba etc.. i prefer torching them.

Snakes are pretty amazing. Most people fear them for good reason, as some are extremely dangerous. But most, especially in temperate countries like the UK, are perfectly harmless. They are pretty unique and are an ancient species. They move - without legs on land and they can swim. They look wet, but are as dry as a bone. They shed their entire skin. And, if it suits you, make good draft excluders when they have finished with their life :)
