Okay so I'm 21 and I've recently been talking a lot to a guy who is two months shy of 18. He totally initiated it and is showing interest in me. We've discussed the age difference and it isn't an issue to either of us, and it's not illegal in our state - do you think that the age difference is too much for us to have a relationship?

I feel like if it was a guy and a girl, a lot of people would be weary of it. But don't you think its a little more normal for there to be a bigger age difference within the gay community? I just feel like it's far more difficult to find someone when you are dealing with a comparatively smaller pool of people (a lot of my friends are in relationships with similar or larger age differences)... how do you think this plays into it?

My advice would be to play it safe for the next two months, until he reaches his 18 birthday. After-wards, should you two still feel the same chemistry, continue to venture in developing the best relationship two men could ever have. Only take caution; until the fruit has ripen (No pun intended)!

3 years is nothing. Just as long as he's reached the age of consent.

that is not much of an age difference.
if you two are consenting adults
in the state you reside,
then it is no business but yours.
