In chat it would be LOL. That's probably a given. Everyone uses that, even when uncalled for. In real life, I don't really have a word or phrase I use very often.

STOKED! I didnt even realise I said it til I moved from one part of South Africa to another... were I used to live everyone says it! It means really happy or really cool, like "I'm so stoked its Friday" but no one here has even heard of it so I now realise how often I say it and my flat mates now have caught on and say it as a joke all the time!

I say "Only Zuul," in response to somebody who mentions something there is none of. For example:

"There is no milk."
"Only Zuul."

It's from Ghostbusters. "There is no Dana, only Zuul." Had to be there, I guess.

"so," as both part of a statement and as a question. and i also find myself saying it for no good reason. i just say, "so," and stop talking. anytime someone calls me on it, i always get confused. then they say, "so?" and i say "so what?" it's a vicious cycle! :)
