Do not get circumsized. You need to be patient and spend some time pulling the foreskin every time you pee, masturbate, shower, etc. I'd use plenty of lube, stretch until it is uncomfortable, but not hurting and do this over and over again until it does pull back. Shame on your dad for not helping you with this. DADS: Teach your boys how to deal with this while they're young.

Fortunately, for phimosis there are lots of different treatments. Be aware that all of them take time, either for the treatment to work or for recovery. The first thing you should try are stretching exercises. In one stretching exercise, take 2 fingers (1 from each hand), "hook" each finger on either side of the foreskin opening, and stretch the opening in opposite directions as much as possible (like increasing its radius) without pain or discomfort. Stretch and hold for a few seconds, then let it relax for a few seconds, then repeat the process for a few minutes each day for a few weeks to a month. It's best to do this exercise right after a shower/bath when the skin's most flexible (see link 1 for more detailed info). If after a month and no progress, you might want to ask a doctor about certain creams. In one study, these creams are the most cost-effective treatment a doctor can prescribe (link 2). These creams may also take a month to get the full effect, but you can speed things along a little if you combine the creams with the stretching exercises. If after another month (and past the 5 weeks you mentioned) and little progress, it might be worth considering surgical interventions. This doesn't necessarily mean circumcision as there are options that are cheaper, remove little/no foreskin, are less painful, and have a quicker recovery time (link 3). Regardless, any surgery should be a last resort, as the stretching exercises and/or creams work in the majority of cases. See links 4 & 5 for more info on phimosis. The first time you expose the glans (penis head) it might be really sensitive to the point of almost pain. But you get used to really quickly. If you can retract your foreskin and wash underneathe (after your phimosis is resolved), then that will help you adjust to the sensitivity really quickly. Good luck with whatever you try.

I disagree with those who say,get circumsized. There is nothing as beautiful as having your foreskin, because it keeps your glans sensitive and therefore, heightens your sexual experience. And it is not true that most women do not like foreskins. It is a natural part of your anatomy, and anyone who says they can't be with you because of your foreskin are not worth the trouble.YOUR FORESKIN SHOULD NEVER BE AN ISSUE WITH ANYBODY.
As for retracting it,just as some of the others said make it an exercise, every time you use the loo or have a shower try retracting it bit by bit, don't force it,just do it gently until you feel it is getting uncomfortable. If you keep this up,eventually it will retract as the skin is elastic and it will gradually expand with the exercises.Try masturbating with the help of some lubricant.
The other thing is,you have to be very particular about your hygiene around there as there is a tendency for bacteria to cause it to have a cheesy smell,if it is realy dirty, the smell is overpowering, and you will also be prone to infections ,so every time you pull it back, clean as much as you can until you have managed to retract it completely.Goodluck!

I agree with the other people defintely go to the doctor and get circumcised. Trust me woman prefer circumcised men it is much more sanitary. It will be painful now that you are older but worth it in the LONG (no pun intended) run.

You don't have to get it cut, just get in the habit of retracting it as far as you can EVERY time you pee, masturbate, and wash. In the shower soap it up and stretch it as much as you can. You can also ask your doctor for hints on how to do this. I was fortunate enough to have my father show me this. I'm sorry that yours was absent in this regard.
